re-enactment group based in Kent
Cænt Herred are a group based in Kent. We are a regional group of The Vikings, the UK’s oldest and largest Dark Age re-enactment society and also international society with the aim of portraying life in Britain during the 10th Century, although we do occasionally venture into the 11th Century - for the Battle of Hastings and back into the 6th and 7th Centuries at historical sites such as Sutton Hoo and the recreated village of West Stow.
